One name for each end
Tell us who will hand your pet over and who will receive them, with a phone number for each. It might be you at both ends, a partner, a neighbor, a sitter or the team at the groomer. We only hand your pet to the person you’ve named, so it’s worth getting right.
Useful door details
Tell us where to stop, which door to use and anything that makes a doorstep handover calmer: a gate to keep closed, a dog next door who barks, a buzzer that doesn’t work. Gate and door codes stay with you; meet us at the door instead.
What to pass on
If the groomer, boarding team or a friend needs a note, a bag or their food, tell us before the ride and pack it with your pet. At the other end we go through it with the person receiving them, so nothing gets left in the car.
When something changes
Plans change. If someone different will be at the door, or the appointment time moves, call us as soon as you know. We’ll update the handover and let the other end know what to expect.
If nobody is there
We never leave a pet at an empty address. If nobody answers, we call the person you named, then you. Your pet stays settled in their travel space while we sort it out together.
Your next conversation
Tell us where your pet is going, who will meet them at each end and the date you have in mind, or call us on (202) 555-0109. We’ll plan the ride with you.
