Groomer, boarding, daycare

How it works from Northbridge.

Daycare and grooming runs on working days, planned around your building.

A care appointment trip gets your pet to their booking without you having to leave work or rearrange your day. You make the appointment with the groomer, boarding home or daycare first, then tell us the time, the address and who will receive your pet.

We plan the pickup around the appointment, so your pet arrives settled rather than rushed. At the other end we hand them to the team, pass on their bag, any feeding notes and anything you’d like the team to know.

Need them brought home again afterwards? Tell us when you get in touch and we’ll plan the return journey at the same time, with the team’s pickup details and the person who will welcome them home.

The ride, stop by stop.

Two handovers and a calm ride in between.

  1. Before the day

    You book, we plan

Make the appointment first. Then share the time, address and contact, and we’ll plan a pickup that gets them there calmly.

  2. At your door

    Bag, notes and a hello

We check their bag and any notes for the team with you, then settle them into their travel space.

  3. On the road

    A calm ride over

A direct ride, so they arrive settled. Cats stay in their carrier and dogs stay clipped in or crated.

  4. At the appointment

    Handed to the team

We hand your pet to the team, pass on the bag and notes, and let you know they’ve arrived.

Riding with a dog, or a cat.

What changes for each passenger on a care appointment trip.

Dogs

  • A short walk before pickup, especially before a groom
  • Their usual lead and collar or harness for the handover
  • Food in a labeled bag if they’re staying for boarding

Cats

  • Their own carrier, so they have something familiar at the groomer
  • A note for the team about how they like to be lifted
  • Covered or uncovered carrier, whichever they prefer

Groomer, boarding or daycare: what’s different.

For grooming, we aim to have your pet there in good time without a long wait in the car. Tell us if your groomer prefers pets to arrive a few minutes early or exactly on time, and whether they’ll need collecting the same day.

For boarding, there’s usually more to hand over: food, a bed or blanket, feeding notes and any care instructions. Pack them in one labeled bag and tell us what’s inside, so we can go through it with the team at the door. For daycare, it’s usually just a lead, their notes and a quick hello.

Pickups in Northbridge.

A few things that help the hello at your door go smoothly.

  • Lobbies and concierge desks

Tell us if your building has a concierge and whether we can meet you in the lobby.

  • Elevators and stairs

Tell us the floor and whether there’s an elevator. For bigger dogs, a short walk down is often easier.

  • Where we can stop

Let us know about loading bays or the best spot to pull in, so the hello isn’t rushed.
