Back home

How it works from Northbridge.

Collected while you’re at work and brought back to whoever is home.

A return journey brings your pet home after a grooming appointment, a boarding stay or a day at daycare. It’s often the ride owners need most, when the pickup time falls in the middle of the working day or you’re still on your way back from a trip.

Before the day we agree the collection address, the time the team expects them to be ready, the person who will hand your pet over and the person waiting at home. If they’re coming back from a longer stay, we’ll ask about the bag and anything the team has to pass on to you.

We collect your pet, check their bag and any notes from the team, and bring them home to the person you named. We let you know when they’re back, so you can stop wondering.

The ride, stop by stop.

Two handovers and a calm ride in between.

Riding with a dog, or a cat.

What changes for each passenger on a return journey.

Dogs

  • Tired dogs often settle quickly for the ride home
  • Their lead goes back to whoever opens your door
  • Tell us if they’ll need a quiet spot after a groom

Cats

  • Ride home in the same carrier they went in
  • Handed over still in their carrier, door closed
  • Let them come out in their own time once they’re home

When the ready time moves.

Grooming finish times can move, and boarding homes sometimes have a set collection window. Tell us what the team has said, and we’ll plan around it. If the time changes on the day, we’ll talk to you and the team and agree the new pickup.

If you’re still away when your pet comes home, make sure the person at home has their food, any notes from the stay and a quiet spot ready. We’ll go through everything the team passed on with them at the door.

Pickups in Northbridge.

A few things that help the hello at your door go smoothly.

  • Lobbies and concierge desks

Tell us if your building has a concierge and whether we can meet you in the lobby.

  • Elevators and stairs

Tell us the floor and whether there’s an elevator. For bigger dogs, a short walk down is often easier.

  • Where we can stop

Let us know about loading bays or the best spot to pull in, so the hello isn’t rushed.
